The wonder of wooden toys

Wooden toys have been around for centuries and were often made at home by a parent for their child as a birthday or Christmas present. For wealthier families, the toys were more often than not made by accomplished craftsmen and were of exceptional quality. These craftsmen passed down their skills to each new generation and these skills survive to this day.
Traditional toys such as these remain timeless and appeal to each new generation of children due to their simplicity and durability. The amount of time and care that goes into making wooden toys means that they are of a much higher standard than contemporary plastic toys and are also more durable and safer with no tiny pieces that could present a choking hazard, than their modern plastic counterparts.
At Tup Tup Toys they make sure that all their wooden toys are eco-friendly and are made from high quality wood that has come from sustainable sources, or from recycled rubber wood which comes from mature rubber trees that no longer generate latex and are typically destined to be burned.
They have a wide range of different wooden toys for all ages, from small items such as baby rattles and puzzles and shape sorters, through to trikes and pull along toys. They also have a range of dollhouses and furniture that is more suitable for older children.
Their wooden toys are bright and colourful and are educational as they encourage learning through tactile play, colour recognition, hand-eye co-ordination and most importantly creativity and imagination. You can be assured that all dyes and paints used on their toys are non-toxic and will not harm your child.  All of the toys being sold have passed vigorous safety checks.
